Located two steps from the Moulin Rouge in the heart of Paris’s red light district, this modern hotel is named after one of the favorite haunts of painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, which used to be next door. The spacious and spotless contemporary rooms have lots of white walls with decorative accents in red and black, and big windows that let in lots of light. The triples are particularly spacious, and there are two large handicap-accessible room. The only problem here is the neighborhood: Only stay here if you don’t mind being in the middle of a strip of sex shops. Rooms facing the boulevard can be noisy on weekend nights. On the upside, you are only a few minutes downhill from the heart of Montmartre.
