This is a fine-arts tour of rooms that serve as our country’s stage for international diplomacy and official entertaining. The rooms house a collection of early American paintings, furniture, and decorative arts dating from 1740 to 1850. Tours are by reservation only, made online or by phone, and are not recommended for children 12 and under. You must bring a valid photo ID, such as a driver’s license, to enter the building.
